DATES AND VENUES: FROM 09 TO 17 JUNE 2025 IN CANADA<\/h3>

The Forum will take place in three major Canadian cities:<\/p>

\u2022 MONTREAL:<\/strong>\u00a0First stage of the Forum, focusing on the agri-food, craft, and technology sectors.
\u2022 OTTAWA<\/strong>\u00a0Intermediate stage: strategic discussions on economic and institutional partnerships, with a\nparticular focus on municipal partnerships and
\u2022 TORONTO<\/strong>\u00a0Closing of the Forum, with presentations on innovative technologies and investment\nopportunities, and time for sightseeing at Niagara Falls.<\/p>


SELECTION CRITERIA<\/h3>

The selection will be made by a joint committee made up of the Forum's promoters, representatives of the\nministries, chambers and consultative bodies of the economic sectors concerned (SMEs, decentralization, agri-\nfood, textiles and crafts, technologies, port activities), following the guidelines of the Cameroon government and in\ncompliance with Canadian laws.<\/p>

FOR SMEs<\/strong><\/p>

\u2022 Sector of activity:\u00a0<\/strong>Priority to the agri-food, textile, technology, craft, municipal trade, and municipal\ncapacity-building sectors.
\u2022 Export capacity:<\/strong>\u00a0Export potential or experience.
\u2022 Impact and innovation:<\/strong>\u00a0Innovative projects or products with a social or economic impact.
\u2022 Representation capacity:<\/strong>\u00a0Qualified representatives to effectively promote the products.
\u2022 Sufficient guarantees of credibility:\u00a0<\/strong>Project leaders, financial resources.<\/p>

FOR MUNICIPALITIES<\/strong><\/p>

\u25e6 Commitment to decentralized cooperation:<\/strong>\u00a0partnership projects or international exchanges.
\u25e6 Experience in local economic development:\u00a0<\/strong>business support programmes or development\ninitiatives.
\u25e6 Interest in collaboration and training for elected representatives and local officials:<\/strong> long-\nterm partnerships with Canada.
\u25e6 Rural or peri-urban municipalities:<\/strong>\u00a0These municipalities will benefit most from the planned\npartnerships, as many of them have no twinning agreement to date.<\/p>

STRUCTURE AND ACTIVITIES OF THE FORUM<\/h3>

The Forum will take the form of plenary sessions, thematic workshops and B2B meetings:
\u2022 Plenary sessions:<\/strong>\u00a0Opening speeches, conferences with experts and government representatives.
\u2022 Thematic workshops:<\/strong>\u00a0Small group discussions by key sector (agri-food, crafts, textiles, technology,\nmunicipal exchanges).
\u2022 Turnkey projects:\u00a0<\/strong>Companies will benefit from adequate preparation to ensure that they arrive at the\nForum with projects ready for financing, and they will meet with Canadian companies who can also\npropose projects for implementation in Cameroon.
\u2022 B2B Meetings and Networking:<\/strong> Space for direct meetings between Canadian and Cameroonian\ncompanies to explore partnership opportunities.
\u2022 Exhibition \/ Showroom \u201cMade in Cameroon\u201d:<\/strong> Presentation of the products and services of participating\ncompanies in the agri-food, textile, craft, and technology sectors.<\/p>

\u2022 Investment opportunities<\/strong> identified and realized through bilateral initiatives.

\u2022 Promotion of start-ups and female entrepreneurship by<\/strong> by highlighting the role of women\nentrepreneurs in Cameroon and Canada.<\/p>

The main indicators of success are as follows: Number of participants, sales volume, compliance with\ndisbursement\/collection schedules and participant satisfaction.<\/p>

After the Forum<\/strong>participating companies and town halls will enjoy the following benefits:<\/p>

Three months\u2019 free support dedicated to monitoring partnerships with Canadian\ncompanies, i.e. until 15 September 2025.
Registration at a preferential rate (10% discount) for future events.<\/p>

A Final Report and a full Financial Statement will be drawn up and sent to the various stakeholders at\nthe end of the Forum. These analysis reports will be used to measure the extent to which financial and\norganizational objectives have been achieved and to better prepare for future editions.<\/p>
